Make up brushes have to be cleaned frequently to prevent
make up residue that leads to bacterial growth. With proper cleaning, you will
be able to maintain the cleanliness sterility of your brush that allows you to
emphasize your face without any added discomfort brought about by germs. Every
month or so, you have to have the presence of mind to wash your make up
brushes. What you got to do first is to shake off all the powder residue.
After
you have done this, run the brushes under warm water. Apply a small dollop of
make up brush cleaner or just a mild shampoo and gently lather into the
bristles. Run them again with the water, and for sure you will notice how the
dirty water will have a different tint, resembling your old make up. Wait until
the water is clear before you dry it. With a soft cotton cloth, pat your
brushes dry. It is a must to do it gently because if you don’t, there is a
tendency to pull out a bristle. Remember to reshape them again before allowing
them to dry over night. It is best to leave them flat for it to have its
original brush head shape.
