What to Avoid With Make Up Brushes
Here are a couple of things one should avoid concerning
make up brushes. First and foremost, do not use brushes with hard stiff
bristles. Not only will these brushes irritate your skin but also may cause
uneven make up application. It is also very uncomfortable so best to avoid
putting yourself in that scenario.
Brushes that are too small or big that have
bristles that are too sparse will not work. Not only will they not hold
overtime but also create a far less emphatic make up. Do not forget to knock
the excess residue of powder make up from your brushes every time before use.
This makes sure that you do not over coat your face with an unnecessary layer
of make up. In applying with the cosmetic brushes, do so with short gentle even
strokes instead of draping it across the face haphazardly. If your brushes are
for personal use, you have to wash them every month or so, but if you are a
seasoned make up artist, it is best to get them cleaned with the correct
solution (or just water and mild baby shampoo) every after use on a variety of
people. Doing this disinfects the brushes and prevents any transfer of bacteria
from one person to the next.
